We all need prayer at some point. So we would like to offer a way for you to submit your prayer requests securely online. If you need prayer or know someone else who needs prayer, you can use our online prayer request and your requests will be sent directly to our GAP line here at St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Your request will be given to over 200 prayer warriors who belong to GAP (God Answers Prayers). So please feel free to use our prayer request form whenever you are in need of prayers for yourself or someone else.
You may also submit the name of a person you wish us to keep in prayer to be published in the bi-weekly parish newsletter. Contact Terri at x 1303 or [email protected]
To submit your ONLINE prayer requests, send an email to [email protected]. Include the wording you wish to appear in the emails.
St. Joseph the Worker Parish takes an active role in a variety of Pro Life events and we encourage all parishioners to get involved in some form, even if it is just to pray.
Every second Saturday, the World Apostolate of Fatima, a group of parishioners from St. Henry and St. Joseph the Worker meet at the Planned Parenthood Center on 146th and Division. They recite the Rosary at 10:30am followed by an Ecumenical Prayer Service from 11:00-11:45am.
St. Joseph Parish also participates in the 40 Days for Life Campaign which occurs every spring and fall. 40 Days for Life is a pro-life campaign working to end abortion through prayer and fasting, peaceful vigils outside abortion centers, and community outreach.
If you would like to get involved with any ongoing or upcoming Pro Life event, contact: Kathi Nordlund at 503-760-8429 or email [email protected].
