Host Ministry encompasses all those who serve as ushers, greeters, and offering collectors. Ushers assist in seating parishioners, facilitating the communion process and helping everyone to comfortably participate in the liturgies. Greeters stand near the entrance, inviting people in, welcoming them, answering questions and generally making parishioners, visitors, and newcomers feel welcome. Collectors assist with passing the basket at the offertory and assuring the security of the offerings.
